INESC TEC Robotics discussed at Fantasporto
Eduardo Silva, the coordinator of the Robotics and Intelligent Systems Unit (ROBIS) at INESC TEC, the coordinating entity of INESC Porto, was one of the speakers at the conference “Likely reality” that took place on 23rd February in the Cinema Area at Fantasporto – the International Cinema Festival in Porto.
The aim was to promote and discuss various topics, including biomedical sciences, nanotechnology, engineering and robotics, optics and holograms, textiles, physics and surgery. All of the presentations were directly or indirectly linked to the cinema. Eduardo Silva spoke about Engineering and Robotics.
Many institutions participated in this event, including the Portuguese Robotics Society, INESC TEC, the Higher Education Engineering Institute in Porto, the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), the Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science Laboratory (LIACC), the Electrotechnic and Telematic Engineering Institute of Aveiro, the Pedro Nunes Institute, the Higher Technical Institute and the Institute of Systems and Robotics.
