The TV124 Inovadores Programme showcases the underwater robot, TriMARES, developed by INESC Porto and designed to be able to hold its position, when stationary, to avoid obstacles and approach objects. This completely autonomous robot was commissioned by a Brazilian company to closely monitor the Lageado dam in the heart of the Pantanal state.
