Projects from LIAAD approved by FCT

LIAAD – INESC Porto LA (Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support) had two of its projects, oRANKI e MORWAQ, approved by FCT. Both projects were coordinated by researcher Luís Torgo.

The oRANKI Project – Detecting Rare Cases using Limited Resources includes researchers from LIAAD only and it will start being worked on in October 2007.

The MORWAQ Project – Monitoring and Predicting Parameters for Water Quality is the result of a partnership established between Águas do Douro and Paiva, SA. The project will start being worked on in January 2008.
