At the Centre for Enterprise Systems Engineering (CESE) we provide industrial companies and other organisations with a wide range of consultancy services, including Industrial Organisation and Business Information Systems. These services support companies in the management and improvement of operations and the analysis, engineering and optimisation of processes.

At CESE the services we offer to industrial companies are based on an integrated and holistic logic, they combine our researchers’ competencies in Manufacturing Systems, Internal Logistics, Process Organisation and Information Systems. 

Furthermore, at CESE we support companies in the design and management of Research and Technological Development (RDT) projects and technological investment projects. Companies can also benefit from our Technological Auditing services that evaluate the organisational status of a company and its use of information systems to support its business activity.
 
At CESE we perform benchmarking in accordance with the Benchmarking Index methodology and we are part of the Portuguese network of Benchmarking Consultants. We also focus on Technology Transfer and look for technological solutions in the international market and promote technologic results (those resulting from Research and Development projects and those that do not) in the international market.
 
Based on the experience of our researchers, we also offer advanced training in our areas of expertise.
