Epilepsy
Precise anatomic location the subdural electrodes position
Patients with medically refractory epilepsy may benefit from surgical resection of the epileptic focus. Subdural electrodes are implanted to accurately locate the seizure onset. In order to improve the visualization of electrodes, a multimodal pipeline was developed in our lab.
The pipeline enables the user:
- To determine the correct location of the electrodes in a 3D view over the cortex
- To simulate the removal of the cerebellum for patients with Temporal Lobe Epilepsy
