INESC TEC welcomes delegation from Canada
On 15 January, INESC TEC welcomed a Canadian delegation, which included the commercial advisor of the Canadian Embassy, Michael Wylie, and other commercial delegates. The visitors had the opportunity to get to know INESC TEC and to discuss possible synergies with organisations in Canada (companies and universities).
The INESC TEC representatives presented the institution’s skills and areas of expertise, and explained how the institution interacts with companies, with a special focus on the work related to the Sea. The delegation was especially interested in the areas of Deep Sea Mining, Fishing and Aquaculture.
The visitors were welcomed by Augustin Olivier and Carlos Pinho, members of
INESC TEC’s Industry Partnership
Service (SAPE).
