You will be able to control energy consumptions in real time
Innovative project is being prepared in Porto, Portugal. Researchers want to help the Portuguese population use energy more efficiently.
The name is Anyplace and the project is now being developed by a team from the Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering of Porto (INESC TEC).
The intelligent technology is connected to the energy meters (gas, electricity or water) to detect energy consumptions in real time.
The Portuguese population will be able to “understand, at all times, how energy can be used more efficiently and economically,” states João Peças Lopes, director of INESC TEC.
The project is now being tested, but should be adaptable to any home. The
price of the Anyplace technology should not exceed 100 euros, and will be
available in 2017.
