This convention aims to promote economic activities associated with the sectors of energy and energy efficiency, water, waste and environment, mobility and transport, information technologies and sustainable building, and other environmental areas from the perspective of domestic and external markets. The goal is to attract foreign direct investment, promote exports and openness to new markets.

More than 100 companies and partners in various activities of the Green Business Week 2015 will be showcasing Portugal’s expertise in these matters. The event will feature product and solution exhibitions, discussion forums, and opportunities to present innovative projects and entrepreneurship, as well as scientific technical and business meetings with international guests.

The agreement was signed by the Director of INESC TEC, Vladimiro Miranda, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the AIP Foundation, Jorge Rocha de Matos. The signing ceremony was attended by the Portuguese the Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Energy, Jorge Moreira da Silva.
