Innovation Networks
Open innovation, Technology transfer and Collaborative R&D.
At the Centre for Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship (CITE) we are recognised for our experience in studies on inter-organisational innovation in order to comprehend how innovation is managed in networks and with the aim of identifying the fundamental elements for collaborative innovation between companies, universities and public organisations. By analysing and comparing open innovation practices in various countries we aim to understand the evolution and the degree of openness found in various initiatives in this area.
At CITE we also specialise in Technology Transfer by studying the impact of framework conditions, such as innovation policies and innovation programmes in Technology Transfer Offices – TTOs. The research conducted at CITE in technology entrepreneurship and in academic entrepreneurship, in particular, and technology commercialisation is also highly relevant for technology transfer.
Using scientometric tools to analyse Research and Development (R&D) collaborations, at CITE we aim to measure and understand the impact of different instruments and collaboration incentives, such as technology clusters and international collaboration.
