USIC Soft Meetings - "Social Software for Music"
The shift in music industry over recent years, with the "digitalization" of music and the way people consume and interact with it, raises some legal issues which affect social music websites. The end of the 1990's saw the appearance of the first portals. Soon other portals came to seize these new opportunities and between 2003 and 2006 an "eruption" of music portals and social music websites came to the Internet.
