Consulting for the implementation and certification of Information Management Systems
INESC TEC, through its Centre for Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship (CITE), was the organisation responsible for supporting the implementation and assessment of RD-I management systems, in line with the Portuguese Standard 4457: 2007, at Flupol, a company located in Valongo, Portugal, that specialises in surface coating and is key partner to several industries (from the automotive to the baking industry).
Flupol believed that certification was not fundamental for its areas of intervention; however, the system is still running at the company and is a main pillar of the company’s RDI strategy.
