Strategic Objectives

In the areas of Technology and Innovation Management the main objectives are:

• Improve INESC TEC's Management Practices  in collaboration the Board of Directors and with other R&D Centres;
• Support private companies in Technological Innovation Management processes.

In the area of Entrepreneurship the main objectives are:

• Support researchers and project promoters working in technology transfer;
• Support researchers and project promoters working on the valorisation of technology in the development of ideas, in the implementation of projects at the stage of “proof of concept” and in the development of a business strategy;
• Support the Board of Directors by creating an innovative and entrepreneurial environment and culture at INESC TEC;
• Support public and private organisations operating technology entrepreneurship support programmes.

Concerning R&D activities the main objectives are:

• Knowledge creation in technology management, Innovation Management , and Entrepreneurship;
• Accept and support Master’s and PhD students in the areas outlined above;
• Promote the valorisation of knowledge by development of conceptual frameworks, methodologies, tools and executive programmes to be supplied to private and public organisations.
